A Vital Part of the Community Since 1959
Conceived as a committee of the Whitehall Exchange Club in 1959, and recognized by the Department of State as a nonprofit
corporation in January 1960, the Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce has played a vital role in the development of the area
and the business community.
From assisting with the development of the Whitehall Mall and the industrial park to construction of a new sign for the
public library ... from beautifying the business district to running the Toys for Tots campaign, the Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce
has worked hard to benefit not only our Members but also the community as a whole.
We now encompass many businesses outside the boundaries of the township and welcome any business or individual, without
regard to location, who has interest in promoting our mission. Monthly luncheons, committees, educational programs,
networking business mixers, business expo, candidate's night, community and business cooperative events, grand openings,
fall parade and car show all offer opportunities for our members to get involved ... and to make a difference!

As a community partner, the Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce strives to preserve the Whitehall area's heritage as
"The Golden Strip of the Lehigh Valley" by continually promoting this area as the premier retail shopping
destination and business center of the Lehigh Valley.
We will achieve this by ...
|
- Providing networking and marketing opportunities for our members to grow their individual businesses.
- Organizing informational and educational opportunities for our members and the community in general.
- Working in cooperation with, but not as an entity of, local, state and federal government agencies and other civic organizations to advance the general interests of the Whitehall area.
